Description: This is an overview of the 2-day in-service that we attended on Effective Strategies for Teaching and Managing Difficult Behaviors presented by Kathryn Phillip, M.A. and Effective Interventions and Improving Executive Function Skills in Children presented by Sarah Ward, M.S., CCC-SLP. You will learn several functional, ready to use strategies for teaching students that arise from emotional/behavioral dysregulation in students.  You will also learn strategies and techniques for teaching students how to develop their executive function skills.  Priority audience are paraprofessionals who work with children that have emotional/behavior difficulties and lack executive functional skills.
